Sad news

It's a bit of a rough day at work today. James Kim's body was found a couple hours ago. It's a little weird, I didn't even know the guy other than by reputation, and yet I'm affected with sadness for his family, friends, and coworkers. I learned a few days ago that a guy I went to grade school with was good friends with the Kims, so I'm feeling for him too.

I was outside in front of the building eating a sandwich when our CEO came out to talk to the press this afternoon (I'd heard about an hour minutes before), and stupidly, all I could think was, "Man, I hope I'm not in the background on the evening news, looking like a heartless dick, eating a sandwich and reading the paper."
